Course Outline
This nationally recognised training course provides participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to safely and efficiently operate equipment and work in a range of different working environments including earthmoving, civil construction, mining and related industries.
- Legislation and standards applicable to operations
- Risk management and control procedures
- Preparation for operations including pre-start checks
- Safe operation techniques
- Modify operating technique to meet changing work conditions
- Machine operator maintenance and housekeeping
Assessment type: Theory and Practical
On successful completion you will receive a Statement of Attainment and a plastic industry wallet card issued by QTLT RTO 40931.
Prerequisites
- Minimum 17 years of age to sit the assessment
- Proficient in English
- A short literacy and numeracy test will be required
